Shooting Stars have concluded plans to retain only 17 players that featured for the team in the Nigeria Professional Football League 2021/22 football season.
OyoSportsNews exclusively gathered that the management of the club has told about 20 players to leave the club while 17 players are expected to resume camp ahead of next season.
OyoSportsNews confirmed that the players whose services were needed for the coming season have been contacted and are expected back in the city of Ibadan when club management announced the new head coach for next season.The players are; Dede Dare, Udo Okechukwu, Ghali Falke, Eze Chidera, Ebuka Anaekwe, Omololu Waheed, Isiaka Mutiu, Adekunle Adeniyi, Uche Ezeala and Olatunji Dare.Others are; Aniete Uko, Raheem Quadri, Akilu Muhammed, Malomo Taofeek Opeoluwa Olufemi, Olafimihan Gafar and Omodemueke Moses
