LMC ROLLS OUT PLANS FOR NEW SEASON AS STADIUM INSPECTION BEGINS

Pitch Specialists and technical officials of the League Management Company (LMC), have officially informed all the twenty clubs that will participate in the Nigeria Professional Football League that the first phase of stadium inspection exercise will commence next week.

In a letter signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the League Management Company, Salihu Abubakar said as part of the pre-season activities, stadium inspection exercise is scheduled to commence next week Monday, 29th of August, 2022.

The league body, however, request all clubs to provide venues, address and names of their first and second choice of stadia for home matches for 2022/2023 season.

The league organizers officials have will pay scheduled visit to the stadium which hosts Yobe Desert Stars home games on Friday.

Recall that at the first phase of the inspection, Akure township stadium, Kwara stadium, Niger Tornadoes home ground, Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium and many other stadium were not approved due to stadium facilities and condition of the pitch which well below standard.
